Flint International MENA
Flint has been actively involved in projects for across the Middle East nearly 20 years. Our involvement began when one of our key customers requested additional technical and project support in the region.
We initially started with a legal entity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to address the complex regional challenges European and North American vendors were facing when entering this complex market. Flint helps them harness the huge growth potential in a region driving rapid adoption of new technologies. As demand for our services increased, we subsequently expanded into the United Arab Emirates and across the wider region.
We have seen significant growth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the surrounding region through both our Strategic Resourcing and Professional and Managed Services lines of business. In 2021, we further enhanced our local capability through the acquisition of MEA-Tech. This alone added and additional 1000 technical and project professionals to our local team.
Under the leadership of Salahuddin Khaja, we have been able to develop a globally local organization that fully understands the specific and unique cultural, regulatory, and visa requirements of the region.
The business is complemented through its use of low-cost offshore delivery centers and talent pools in countries like India and Egypt. Through this, we can provide access to a wider base of cost-effective engineers, consultants, and project managers to supplement the local team.
To reduce the risk associated with new technology introduction and the time to market, the team leverages the best practices, systems, and tools of the entire Flint group.
Unique to any of the other Flint entities, the team in the Middle East has also created a Data Centre Facilities Management practice to support the growing demand in the region.
